Ben is an Associate in Mathews Dinsdale’s Toronto office. He practices in all areas of workplace law and advises both unionized and non-unionized employers. Ben has experience in grievances and arbitrations, union organizing and labour board applications, employment standards, and human rights applications, and represents clients in proceedings before the Courts, labour arbitrators, the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.
Ben was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017 after completing his articles with the firm. While in law school, Ben was an active member of the Queen’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society and the Queen’s Law hockey team. Ben also volunteered with the Queen’s Law Cabaret for a Cure and participated in an exchange program at the Bader International Study Centre in East Sussex, England, where he obtained a certificate in International Business Law. Prior to law school, Ben spent a year playing professional hockey in the Southeastern United States.
