Shawn is an Associate at our Toronto office. He currently practices in all areas of workplace law with a particular focus on construction labour relations. Shawn has represented construction employers in a variety of OLRB proceedings such as applications for certification, unfair labour practice complaints, jurisdictional disputes and grievances.
Shawn has also represented and advised a wide range of unionized and non-unionized employers in a diverse set of labour relation matters – including interpreting collective agreement language, human rights proceedings at the HRTO, policy drafting and implementation, discipline, rights and interest arbitration and collective bargaining.
Shawn became an Associate in 2013 after working with us as a Summer Student and Articling Student. Prior to joining the firm, Shawn obtained his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University, Master of Arts in International Relations from Dalhousie University and Honours Bachelor of Arts at McGill University, jointly majoring in International Development and Political Science.
