    Frivolous human rights complaints create a costly challenge for employers. The amount of time and expense that is expended in successfully defending such complaints often results in a pyrrhic victory. Fortunately, there are new rules and procedures which allow employers to deal with these types of complaints in a faster and much more cost effective manner.

    This invaluable session will include a summary of:

    • New Rules and Procedures for Summary Proceedings under the Ontario Human Rights Code;
    • Relevant cases that illustrate how these new rules and procedures have been applied; and
    • Strategic issues that should be considered in dealing with multiple claims in multiple forums.
