20/20 Hindsight: Alberta’s Workplace Laws One Year Later

    Complimentary Calgary Breakfast Seminar
    In-person Attendance Only

    Thursday, January 31, 2019 |  9.00 am – 11.00 am MST
    Registration & Breakfast 8.30 am – 9.00 am MST

2018 was a year of change for Alberta employers. Amendments to the province’s Employment Standards Code, Labour Relations Code, and Workers’ Compensation Act, and a new Occupational Health and Safety Act had significant implications for Alberta workplaces. Employers are still dealing with managing those changes. One year after many of the changes came into force, the dust is starting to settle and we are getting clarity on what they mean, how best to deal with them, and which answers we are still waiting for.

Join us as we discuss the new legal landscape for workplaces. Our team of Alberta lawyers will explain the impacts and provide the practical information you, as an Alberta employer, need to know.

Breakfast will be served so bring an appetite! We hope you will join us!
