Sarah is an associate lawyer in our Toronto office and currently practices in all areas of workplace law. She advises employers on a wide range of labour, employment, and human rights law matters, with a particular focus on employee accommodation; discipline and discharge; and workplace investigations.
Sarah has represented employers before before labour arbitrators, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She is also a frequent public speaker, delivering educational and training seminars for clients and employer associations.
Prior to being called to the Ontario Bar, Sarah completed an international law internship with the International Labour Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition to her Juris Doctor from Western University, she holds a Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources degree from the University of Toronto.
In her spare time, Sarah is an elected member of the Labour & Employment section of the Ontario Bar Association Executive.
