- Cheryl A. Edwards – a former Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Prosecutor, Cheryl has been repeatedly recognized as one of the leading OHS and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board lawyers in Canada. She has almost 30 years of experience representing and providing strategic advice to public and private sector employers, and to constructors, supervisors, officers and directors in relation to OHS regulatory trials, complaints, inquests and appeals. Cheryl also advises and conducts litigation in labour relations and employment matters. Before joining Mathews Dinsdale, Cheryl led a national OHS and workers’ compensation practice group at a national law firm.
- Greg McGinnis – over the past 18 years, Greg has developed considerable experience in labour-management negotiations, managing and advising employers in connection with work stoppages, union certification, executive employment agreements, litigation before labour relations boards, civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels, and in connection with construction industry matters.
- Sonia Regenbogen – with a practice focused on providing trusted and practical advice regarding human rights, labour and employment law, Sonia has been recognized each year since 2010 in the Who’s Who of Management Labour & Employment Lawyers as among the world’s leading management labour and employment lawyers. Sonia is frequently retained to conduct workplace investigations and has a top reputation in that capacity. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Queen’s University Faculty of Law where she teaches employment law. She is also a frequent speaker on all aspects of workplace law.
- Jeremy Warning – with a focus on occupational health and safety law, Jeremy advises provincial, national and international clients on a full range of workplace law matters. Jeremy is a former Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Prosecutor and, since 2012, has been listed in The Best Lawyers in Canada as a leading occupational health and safety lawyer. He is a co-author of the Annotated Occupational Health and Safety Act – a leading text used by lawyers, safety professionals, and human resources specialists. Jeremy also advises clients on a full range of workplace law matters.
