    Cole provides advice to employers in all areas of labour and employment law, including grievance handling and collective agreement administration, workplace policies, employment standards, privacy, workplace investigations, performance management, employee discipline, terminations, wrongful and constructive dismissal, restrictive covenants and accommodations.

    Cole has experience working in Federal and Provincial proceedings and has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, as well as the Canada Labour Relations Board, and Canada Labour Code adjudications.

    Prior to joining Mathews Dinsdale, Cole worked at a leading national telecommunications company providing legal advice and support to the human resources department in all aspects of employment law. Cole also previously practiced law with a national, full service law firm focusing on employment law and general litigation.
