Sydney is an Associate in Mathews Dinsdale’s Toronto office. She advises employers on a wide range of issues, including human rights and accommodation, labour relations, grievance arbitrations, and employment standards. Sydney was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016 after completing her articles with the firm.
Sydney obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario. During law school, she acted as Managing Editor for Western’s Journal of Legal Studies, and as Associate Editor for the Canada-US Law Journal. She also volunteered with Community Legal Services and Pro Bono Students Canada, completed a Clinical Mediation Internship, and acted as Assistant Coordinator for Western’s Dispute Resolution Centre. While at Western Law, Sydney was the recipient of the Dean of Law Scholarship and the Kevin J. Comeau Continuing Scholarship for academic achievement.
