Krista is an Associate in the firm’s Toronto office. She provides strategic advice to clients with respect to labour relations matters, human rights and employment issues, labour market impact assessments and temporary and permanent immigration options. Krista also represents employers before boards of arbitration, labour relations boards, human rights tribunals and the courts.
After working in the field of citizenship and immigration law, Krista received her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar after completing her articles
with the firm. During her studies, she worked in the Immigration Division at Parkdale Community Legal Services and received various honours for academics and community involvement including: the Bora Laskin Prize, the Newton Rowell Scholarship for Public Service and the Dean’s Gold Key Award.
Prior to law school, Krista obtained a Master of Development Studies degree from York University after completing an internship and thesis in the area of labour migration.
